From Above is based on a satellite photo of sprawling farmland in the mountain ranges of Nepal. Each plot sectioned off, each fence forever immortalised in Benny’s custom gold. The largely monochrome mountain ranges to the right perfectly capture the very essence of their muses’ scale. The gold line work, and multiple layers of resin, add significant depth to this piece, enticing you to move closer and fall into it, or lose yourself in the intricate detail. From Above is 120cm x 130cm, consisting of white, black, turquoise hues, pearl white, and Benny’s signature gold. All of which is beautifully sealed under multiple layers of resin, enhancing its depth significantly, whilst also providing a stunning glass-like gloss finish.
